Introducing the 2013 Camp Card! The Heart of Virginia Council, BSA is pleased to announce the “Camp Card.” This initiative is designed to help Scouts earn their way to summer camp or day camp.
On Monday evening, Pack 788 scouts, parents, and invited guests will gather for a special occasion to recognize fellow scouts who have attained the highest rank in Cub Scouting. This event also provides the younger Scouts with the opportunity to observe what they are striving to achieve; while allowing all attendees to wish our AOLs success as they embark on their next endeavor.
Once the Arrow of Light ceremony is complete, everyone is welcome to return to the Garage for refreshments, food, and the Pinewood Derby Awards—and naturally, there will be cake!
Thank you to our parents that joined our information session on August 31st. We will hold another session next week on September 9th. An email with the zoom link will come next week.
An important part of the pack meeting is formal recognition given to the Cub Scouts who have earned badges, arrow points, belt loops & pins, religious emblems, Pine Wood Derby or other awards. Please join us at the Pack Meeting, Monday, February 23rd at 6:15pm in the Worship Area at Christ Church.
Our Scouts have worked and competed hard to earn these awards. We have boxes and boxes of awards to present …… don’t miss this Pack Meeting!
